This is obviously full of heavy spoilers for the books up to Dance and for the show up to 5.07.This will likely be full of my impression from the books and also might be coloured by faulty memory, because I don't remember the details from the books so very well. Please correct me if I misremember some facts.

Season three was overall a huge treat. I remembered why the third book is my favorite in the series and how much I love the unlikely character combinations it contains.

I wasn't around much lately so I didn't have the time to write much about the individual episodes and now it is too late to catch up, but I'm watching and I love what they are doing for the most part.

I especially like how they are working with the Jaime and Brienne storyline, which is prompting me to write about those two and why I find them so ( Read more... )

Sadly I had no time to post about the first two episodes of the season which I largely enjoyed, but tonight I finally don't have to hurry to the next thing after watching. I'm afraid this will be full of book spoilers.

Sadly I only ever seem to have time to write when most of LJ is on holiday but I'm still very glad I got to spend some quality tv time today. Season 2 is neat isn't it?
